The three-day seminar Power System Stability provides a comprehensive overview about power system stability and control.
The dynamic modelling and simulation environment of DIgSILENT PowerFactory is introduced.
The seminar includes a presentation of the mathematical models of synchronous generators, induction machines, loads, excitations systems, turbines and governing systems.
Participants perform numerous exercises, in which they investigate the stability of single-machine and multi-machine power systems, using time-domain and frequency-domain techniques.
