    Request and Installation of PowerFactory Demo Version

    This topic presents step-by-step procedure for requesting, installing and using demo version of the famous most powerfull power system simulation software, DIgSILENT PowerFactory.

    The following link presents details about the software. The produt manual can also be downloaded from the attachment link.

    This page also contains links to demo requests of StationWare and GridCode softwares.

    Alternatively you can request CD copy of demo version by emailing us on smart@albanah.com

    We will then deliver the following CD to you

    Once you are in demo request page, fill the required information.

      When you fill the details and submit the request,
      you will receive the following automatically generated email.

        Now you click on the download link.
        You will reach the download area.

        You can start downloading the software.

          When download is complete, install the program.

          Double click on icon and installation will start immediately.

          And when prompted, select Demo

            When installtion is complete, you need to email the getlicense.bin file from the folder as shown.

            You then either send the file to any of the emails

            smart@albanah.com

              The temporary 4 weeks license will then be sent to you by email.
              You just need to paste the license file in the PF14 directory shown above.

                PowerFactory Demo Request

                To request a demo for PowerFactory you need to fill the form

                The attached file is very helpful in using the demo version.

                  This procedure is for older version 14 and earlier.
                  Please follow the demo version request for recent versions of PowerFactory given in this article.
